Two New Underpasses by CDA and Signal-Free Corridor Planned for Islamabad.

Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi announces the construction of underpasses at Serena Chowk and Srinagar Highway for smoother traffic flow.

For the convenience of Islamabad residents, two underpasses will be constructed, creating a signal-free corridor. One underpass will be built at Serena Chowk and the other on Srinagar Highway, as announced by Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi.

He has instructed that the height of the underpasses should be kept at the maximum limit practically possible.

Moreover, the new underpasses planned by CDA have been welcomed by some but criticized by others. The reason for their criticism is because of the fact that the higher authorities are neglecting the underdeveloped areas of Islamabad and instead developing the areas that are already developed.

But overall, it’s a good initiative taken by the federal interior minister Mohsin Naqvi who is also the chairman of PCB.

Don’t Skip: Randhawa, the Chairman of CDA, actively involves himself in the progress of Islamabad.

Minister Naqvi has tasked the Chairman of the Capital Development Authority (CDA) and the Chief Commissioner of Islamabad with the project. The preliminary design for the underpasses has been prepared, and NESPAK officials briefed the minister on the details.

The minister has emphasized the need to complete the project in the shortest possible time. The meeting, chaired by Minister Naqvi, included participation from the Chairman CDA and Chief Commissioner of Islamabad, Muhammad Ali Randhawa, and NESPAK officials.

CDA’s new chairman Muhammad Ali Randhawa has also been actively participating in the ongoing developmental projects in Islamabad.
