Shoaib Akhtar has always been a business mind since his days of playing cricket. He recently told revealed on a morning show that he was always fond of buying property. He said that I always encouraged my colleagues to buy land back in the days when they played cricket. Shoaib also said that he bought a few pieces of land in Islamabad back in the 1990s. On being asked about his wisdom about business, he credited that vision to his mother saying she was a very wise woman.

Blue World City Islamabad
Blue World City Project was initiated back in 2018 with a vision to engrave an environmentally friendly city outside Rawalpindi/Islamabad. This project is led by Mr. Saad Nazir who is the CEO of BGC. Co-profited by Ch. Nadeem Ejaz, Blue World City is one of the fastest-growing societies in Pakistan. The project was initiated when they had 1534 Kanals possessed land. Now the project is expanded to over 125,000 Kanals. It is planned to be a complete and separate city in the twin cities of Pakistan. It is not yet an NOC-approved project.
Location
Blue World City is situated on Chakri Road in District Rawalpindi, tehsil Chakri. The project is situated 40 KM away from the New Islamabad International Airport. You can access it from the Chakri interchange or via Capital Smart City.
Joint Venture with Shoaib Akhtar
The Rawalpindi Express Shoaib Akhtar joined hands with the Blue World City last year in March. They have dedicated a full-fledged Sports City block to the former Pakistani Speedstar. The block is named Shoaib Akhtar Enclave. The opening ceremony took place last year in Doha, Qatar.

The opening ceremony of Sports Valley-Shoaib Akhtar enclave was hosted by the CEO of Blue World City, Mr. Saad Nazir. The Qatar ceremony was joined by many renowned stars of Pakistan and foreigners too.
The big Pakistani Cricketers include Shahid Khan Afridi, Misbah-ul-Haq, Muhammad Hafeez, Abdul Razzaq, and Sohail Tanvir.
Australian cricketers include Brett Lee and Shane Watson.
South African cricketers include Jacques Kallis, Lance Klusener, and Morné van Wyk.
New Zealand cricketers Martin Guptill and Ross Taylor were also there.
English cricketers Paul Collingwood and Samit Patel.
Sri Lankan cricketer Tillakaratne Dilshan.
Afghani cricketer Asghar Afghan.
Indian cricketer Suresh Raina.
During the ceremony, famous cricketer Shoaib Akhtar thanked the foreign cricketers for attending. He then announced on behalf of himself and Blue World City the gift of one villa in Sports Valley – Shoaib Akhtar Enclave to each of the renowned cricketers in attendance at the occasion.
The inclusion of Shoaib Akhtar as a brand ambassador of Blue World City marks the effort of society management to promote their business with sports in Pakistan. Everybody is allowed to earn, but if their earnings also benefit the country; that’s a plus!

Recent condition of Blue World City
As we have discussed above, Blue World City is one of the fastest-growing societies in Pakistan. There isn’t any issue about the selling perspective but the re-sale? That’s the most annoying part of Blue World City. The file system on which the plots have been said to be sold, they don’t offer you the security and the amount you want your plot to be sold on.
You can buy your plot on easy installments and at lower prices but once you want to sell your file, the market value drops down to 50%. So people don’t want to invest any further in Blue World City. Now several factors play a huge role in the development of real estate in Pakistan.

- The cost and procedures
- The approval of higher authorities
- And the pace of development.
The problem with Blue World City Islamabad is that there was a rumor of fraud in the market a few years ago. With the rumor spreading in the market the icing on the cake was their dealers who sold fake files, further making a strong case for those rumors.
Blue World City Islamabad when it launched in 2018, was the most hot-selling land ever in Pakistan. But reports said that they had some problems with the establishment back in the 2021 period which reduced their speed a bit. The icing on the cake was the fraud rumor. All in all Blue World City as a project is not a fraud but the current value of their project is negative.
